Holiday itinerary to Yogyakarta in 2025
I am still on the train on the way home when I write this. While waiting the train to arrive at the destination, I want to share the holiday-in-Yogyakarta itinerary.
Total days spent
4 days 3 nights.

- Headed to the inn. We stayed at Wanitatama.
- Took a rest until noon, while waited the rain to stop
- Spent the night at Heha Sky View, although we didn't really enjoyed it due to the rain and fog
- Headed back to the inn to rest
Day 2
- Had a breakfast at Gudeg Sagan
- Enjoyed the rides at Ibarbo
- Had a lunch at Pak Bayu's soup and satay. It was so delicious!
- Had afternoon walk at Malioboro

- Shopped food souvenirs at Jawara Satoe
- Headed back to the inn
Day 3
- Breakfast at Jasa Ayah's lemak rice
- Explored the Gembira Loka Zoo
- Lunch at Bakmi Jogokariyan
- Enjoyed the Dirgantara Museum
- Spent the remaining night at South Square (Alun-alun Kidul)
Day 4
- Departed from Lempuyangan Station
- Arrived at Sidareja Station
- Rented a travel car to get us home
- Holiday was over
Budget Spent
~Rp3000K / ~$181
There were two destinations that did not fit into the initial plan.
In day 2, we planned to see the art performance at Obelix Hill. We had to cancel it because the rain didn't stop and we were all burnt out and wanted to take a rest ASAP.
In day 3, we had to change the destination for lunch because Mie Sapi Banteng closed on Sunday.
We used ride-hailing service to get us to the destinations. So, the budget spent could be cheaper if you use your own transportation.
Overall, it was fun! Now let me back to daily routines. It's time to craft one of my personal project that hopefully can be useful for me personally, or for every one who interested and have the same interest with me.
What is that?
Just wait and see! 😄
That's it. Typing this on the train makes me feel nauseous.
